The crimp height is the cross section height of the body crimp area after crimp, and it is the most important feature of good crimp.Terminal manufacturers have increased the crimp height for each cable size designed for the terminal.The correct crimp height range or tolerance for a given cable may be as small as 0.002 ".Under such strict specifications, it is important to verify that the crimp machine is set up correctly to obtain good crimp.
